Drag Racing Performance Gains – USA

An automotive transmission and drivetrain specialist in the United States, focused on repair of transmissions, transfer cases, differentials and related components. The owner has extensive experience in both drag racing and offshore racing.

In high-performance drag racing applications, extreme stress was placed on transmission fluid. Running a quarter mile in 5.86 seconds at 399 km/h, fluid temperatures exceeded 145°C, causing rapid oil degradation. After each run, the fluid had to be replaced.

Based on positive experience in workshop and heavy-duty applications, the decision was made to switch to SWEPCO 714 Hydraulic Transmission Fluid.

• Achieved improved performance: 5.66 seconds at 409 km/h (0.2 seconds faster and +10 km/h increase)
