In recent years, it has become increasingly common for automatic transmissions in various car brands to stutter and knock, with all the negative consequences for driving comfort. Especially in relatively new cars, drivers expect shifting to be very smooth, particularly when driving an exclusive car like Audi, Aston Martin, BMW, Mercedes, or Porsche, but of course, this also applies to “regular” cars.

In 2010, Frank Kleijn visited Autoservice Koen Exclusief in Heteren and suggested using SWEPCO 714 Hydraulic Transmission Fluid SAE-20 for automatic transmissions that shifted less smoothly. This allowed them to practically experience that a high-quality lubricant provides more protection than the transmission oil previously used. For cars that still shift well, it is also advisable to use a higher-quality product during a regular ATF change. This helps prevent problems in the future.

After Autoservice Koen Exclusief used SWEPCO 714 Hydraulic Transmission Fluid SAE-20 in various problematic cases, the stuttering and knocking during shifting was no longer an issue. This naturally resulted in satisfied customers, as they were able to easily avoid a relatively expensive overhaul.
