SWEPCO 512 Premium Performance Booster is a concentrated, high-quality additive package with advanced antioxidants, seal conditioners, anti-foam, and water separation chemistry. Added to conventional hydraulic oils at a treatment rate of just 6%, it can extend the oil life by 50% or more and deliver premium performance without the premium price.

DESCRIPTION & PURPOSE

SWEPCO 512 Premium Performance Booster is a high-quality additive package used to extend the lifespan and enhance the performance of conventional mineral oil and PAO-based hydraulic oils in several key areas.

SWEPCO 512 Premium Performance Booster is recommended for:

• All types of hydraulic systems using mineral oil or PAO-based hydraulic fluids.
• Especially effective in construction, forestry, waste collection, utilities, heavy industry, and other applications.
• Excavators, loaders, aerial lifts, skidders, garbage trucks, dump trucks, and many other types of equipment.

These and more will benefit from the use of SWEPCO 512.

INSTRUCTIONS

• Add to new mineral oil or PAO-based hydraulic fluid at a ratio of 1:16 (1 part SWEPCO 512 to 16 parts conventional hydraulic oil).
• Determine the correct amount of SWEPCO 512 Premium Hydraulic Oil Improver to add to the hydraulic system by dividing the oil capacity of the system by 16.
  Example: For a hydraulic system with a capacity of 30 liters (8 gallons), divide 30 liters (8 gallons) by 16, which results in 1.875 liters (0.5 or 1/2 gallon).
• Bring the unit to operating temperature.
  Turn off the system and fully drain the old oil.
• Measure the required amount of SWEPCO 512 and add it directly to the oil reservoir.
  Then add new conventional hydraulic oil until the system is properly filled. Continue with normal operations.

PACKAGING

Available in 19-liter buckets (5 gallons) that treat 303 liters (80 gallons) and boxes of 6 one-gallon bottles (1 US gallon = 3.785 liters) that each treat 60.6 liters (16 gallons).

WARNING before using SWEPCO 512 Premium Performance Booster:

• SWEPCO 512 is only recommended for use in NEW hydraulic oils.
• It should only be used in mineral oil or PAO-based hydraulic oils.
• Do not exceed the treatment ratio of 1:16; over-treatment may potentially damage hydraulic system components.

• Stops leaks – Increases seal volume to stop leaks and save money... just one drop per second equates to 1,550 liters (410 gallons) of loss per year... also contains UV detection dye to make finding the source of persistent leaks easier.
• Extends oil life – Powerful antioxidants improve thermal stability, reduce oil thinning at high temperatures, and slow down oil thickening due to oxidation... typically extends oil life by 50% or more... lowers overall hydraulic oil costs... helps ensure optimal viscosity across a wide temperature range... improves pump efficiency, more responsive hydraulics, and increased productivity... also responsible for many other benefits such as longer change intervals, lower maintenance costs, lower disposal costs, and less downtime.
• Improves water separation – High-quality demulsifiers force quick water separation for easy, complete removal of water from the system... reduces rust and corrosion and improves pump performance.
• Reduces pump wear – Less water and cavitation means less pump wear.
• Lowers operating temperatures – Prevents thinning from high temperatures and oxidation from causing high operating temperatures.
• Stops burst hoses – Reduces foam formation that causes peaks and burst hoses.

• Longer oil life – Advanced antioxidants prevent oxidation at high temperatures, which destroys conventional oils, shortening their lifespan and replacement intervals.
• ASTM D-2272A Rotating Pressure Vessel Oxidation Tests show that SWEPCO 512 significantly extends oxidative life, with the level of improvement depending on the quality of the original oil.
• Improved thermal and oxidative stability provides many other benefits, such as longer replacement intervals, lower maintenance costs, reduced disposal costs for used oil, lower operating temperatures, improved oil viscosity index (VI), enhanced pump efficiency, less pump wear, and reduced downtime.
• Improved water treatment – Enhanced water separation ensures effective removal of water from the system, reducing rust, corrosion, and pump wear.
