SWEPCO 104 High Heat Grease is a premium quality multipurpose high-pressure grease, designed to be used in a grease gun, with excellent thermal and chemical stability. It is specially developed to provide superior lubrication under various demanding operating conditions, including severe, extreme temperatures, heavy loads, and abnormal exposure to moisture.

The broad range of protection that SWEPCO 104 offers makes it a superior multifunctional lubricant that meets the requirements of applications where a grease gun is used and also many special applications. SWEPCO 104 High Heat Grease protects equipment at high temperatures.

SWEPCO 104 is carefully formulated to withstand the demanding lubrication requirements of high-temperature applications. It is a precise blend of the highest quality high-viscosity refined oil and a non-melting thickener. This combination provides the finished lubricant with both high-temperature resistance and high film strength. This unique combination prevents the lubricant from separating and flowing at high temperatures, while also protecting it against the effects of oxidation that destroy the effectiveness of conventional greases.

SWEPCO High Heat Grease 104 is specifically developed for superior lubrication across a wide range of high-temperature applications.

SWEPCO 104 provides safe, reliable lubrication at constant temperatures up to 177°C (350°F) and intermittent temperatures up to 260°C (500°F). The dropping point in ASTM D-2265 laboratory tests consistently demonstrates the high-temperature stability of this grease. It is particularly recommended for use in high-temperature industrial applications where many sodium, calcium, or lithium-based greases fail.

Practical experience has shown that SWEPCO 104 is particularly effective for lubricating chains, plain bearings, gear bearings, conveyor bearings, and kiln bearings, as well as similar equipment operating at high temperatures.

The performance at low temperatures is also excellent. SWEPCO 104 does not become excessively thick at low temperatures. It maintains its pumpability and continues to provide superior lubrication down to the recommended low temperature limit of -34°C (-30°F).

SWEPCO 104 High Heat Grease is not displaced under heavy loads.

SWEPCO 104 also has excellent high-pressure properties. It is not easily displaced under heavy loads. The high shock resistance, shear stability, and high film strength ensure that it “stays in place” to provide consistent, uniform lubrication, even under shocking or extreme loads.

Exceptional water resistance

SWEPCO 104 has an unusually high resistance to water. It simply won’t “wash out.” It withstands the washing action of water and stays on friction-bearing surfaces, ensuring reliable lubrication. This property provides superior performance in moist or wet areas and for applications requiring moisture resistance, such as chassis, fifth wheels, and water pump lubrication.
