SWEPCO 150 Superior Wire Rope Grease is a semi-fluid lubricant specifically developed for lubricating and protecting expensive steel wires and cables.

High-performance synthetic base oils and state-of-the-art overbased calcium sulfonate chemistry provide industry-leading extreme pressure, anti-wear, and corrosion protection. It is designed to coat the exterior to eliminate abrasive wear and corrosion, significantly extending the lifespan of various components in demanding environments such as the maritime, mining, construction, and transportation sectors.

SWEPCO 150 extends the lifespan of cables, sheaves, pulleys, drums, guides, pins, and rollers in a wide range of applications. These include cranes, hoists, marine towing cables and mooring lines, anchor cables, dock lines, tram cables, dredges, draglines, mining equipment, and elevators. It is also suitable for numerous other applications in construction, mining, transportation, and industrial sectors.

MASTO Lubricator

To provide optimal protection for your cables, the use of the MASTO Lubricator ensures that SWEPCO 150 Wire Rope Grease penetrates deep into the core of the steel cable. Rust, old lubricant, water, and contaminants are forced out, scraped off, and fresh lubricant is applied—all in a single operation.

The normal lubricant consumption is approximately 1-2% of the weight of the steel cable.
